Maureen FitzSimons, better known as Maureen O'Hara in America, was a child prodigy. This was a natural trait for an Irish-born child surrounded by talented parents as well as a loving and supportive family. Maureen entered this loving refuge within Ranelagh, Ireland on August 17th, 1920. Marguerita LIlburn FitzSimons is her mom. She was a skilled contralto.
