Her most well-known roles include in the roles of Marina Cooper on the soap drama Guiding Light and Marcy Bender in the soap opera Dawson's Creek. She appeared on two episodes of the Showtime series Weeds starring Mary Louise Parker. She is well known for the roles she played as Judy Kramer in Point Pleasant which aired in 2005 on Fox and as Marcy Bender on Dawson's Creek. She played Marina Cooper for three years in Guiding Light and Guiding Light. It was a performance which won her a 2003 Soap Op Digest Award nomination as the best newcomer. Dollar played Cindy Thomas in the ABC series Women's Murder Club from 2007-2008. Dollar was on the show as Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in 2012. The show never picked up.
